S7-1200 FW 4.XX HSP

Hi,

Pulling my hair out!

I have TIA V13 SP1 UD5 and I need to update my HSP to allow me to connect to my 1211C DCDCDC V4.xx PLC but I cannot find the correct HSP.

The automatic updater keep crashing so cannot use that to find the HSP either ......

Any help / direction appreciated!

please can you make a sreenshot of the installed TIA SW Packages which are installed (in tia -> Help -> installed software -> detalled informations)

I think you have only installed V13 UPD but not V13.0 SP1.

The S7-1200 V4.x is available since V13.SP1 without any HSP ´to need!

I have managed to update PLC sim now so the updater stops crashing but the english PDF for the HSP link is dud so i cannot see what HSP# is needed to add the FW4.xx CPUs to TIA

I have SP1 UD5 but the version 4 CPU were not in the CPU list???

I have since installed the PLC SIM SP1 UD1 and I now have the CPU FW 4!  odd but at least i can carry on 

The updater kept crashing when it tried to load PLC SIM SP1 UD1 so I downloaded it and installed it manually.  Now the updater is ok and the CPU FW is OK

then why you don't provide the installed SW list?, or the list of the S7-1211C devices from your catalog?

Sorry but you haven't installed TIA Portal Step7 Basic V13.SP1 if you haven't the S7-1200 controlles V4 in the catalog!

I assure you i have SP1 and UD 5 installed.  i don't know why I couldn't access the FW4.0 CPU's until I sorted out the simulator and updater but that's how it was!
