Dan59 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Dear Experts, I have a problem with the connection between S7-1200 (6ES7 214-HG40-0XB0) V4.1 and HMI GE QuickPanel + IC755CSS06RDA Proficy ME v9.0. Support GE did not help me. All the help files from the Internet (?) Have been tested, with no effect. The screen HMI I have the same question marks only. Maybe some hint, I will be grateful. You can enable this at the properties of the PLC under Protection, and then scroll down... Regards, Towome

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1203)	Some 3rd party HMIs work only in "symbolic address" access while others only in "absolute address" access. Look at how the DB you use is structured - do not use optimized structure but standard.

Is there a difference between? If yes perhaps a setting of the communication Adapter? (Sorry i don not know the HMI Software) Bye Murof

Dan59 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Problem solved, connection S7-1200 and GE-Fanuc HMI has been established by the OPC server (properly configured). I read all the variables I, Q, M, MW, MD, and everything from the DB. Subject completed, thank you all for your help.
