        I am taking data from s7-1200 plc using tag management, everything works fine but sometimes the machine gets a fault and some function of machine stopped working and some time fault 8501 came which is a communication error between plc and drive. any solution ?? please help me.

the fault 8501 came in all the connected drive to the plc.

 Fault 8501 in a G120 drive = No Profinet connection basically.

Check that you have a good Profinet connection between th drive and PLC. Cheap Ethernet cables tend to generate this fault.
