Include external suppression circuits on each relay output as described in the S7-1200 System Manual.Suppression circuits for relay outputs must be provided externally and must match the load type. For more information regarding suppression circuits, refer to the S7-1200 System Manual http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/36932465. In the 11/2009 version, see the Installation chapter, section 2.3 Wiring Guidelines. Another recommendation is to connect the "M" terminal of the CPU sensor supply to the chassis ground terminal of the CPU, which should also be connected to chassis ground in the panel. This can be done with a short wire connected between the fifth terminal from the upper left of the CPU (Sensor "M") and the third terminal from the upper left of the CPU (chassis ground). This connection is recommended regardless of whether the sensor supply is used in the application. This connection is not currently shown in the 11/2009 version of theS7-1200 SystemManual but has beendemonstrated to improve the noise immunity of some applications. |
