S7-1200 Hangs up when loading program

jstauffe Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I've been successfully programming with this PLC and a KTP600 Basic color HMI for about 2 weeks now. Recently something has happened and I am unable to download to the PLC. When I attempt to download, the program hangs on the 'Loading Configuration' popup. Eventually the program offers Communication error -111: Service Timeout. This freezes the PLC until I cycle power, then the PLC and HMI work together flawlessly. I have tried this multiple times. I am able to download the configuration, just not the software. I don't think I am doing anything differently than I was when the download process worked. Am I missing something easy, or is there a deeper issue? I have attached a screen shot. Thanks, Jonathan Attachment PLC Lockup.pdf (235 Downloads)

jstauffe Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Thanks for your help. The IP address has been set, and I can ping the PLC successfully. It seems as if its communicating, but getting hung up with the configuration.
