S7-1200 Hardware Download problem

ashutosh pethkar Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	Dear All, I am facing problem of error " Loading the hardware configuration failed (0050- 133 2 2458)." while downloading Application program in S7-1200 Plc . I am using CPU 1214C DC/DC/RLY with 214-1HE30-0XB0 . Program which I am using is Without error and without warning means shows 0 error and 0 warning on compilation. I tried With TIA V11.0 Sp2 as well as TIA 11.0 also but problem remains same. I treid with Change of laptop also but it was not worked too. I am facing the same error , I tried all possible options but i can not download anything in PLC . PLC memory staus is empty. I created a new PLC program with just of single PLC and just One instruction in OB1 but this also can not be download. always giving same Error . I have attached JPG file of same. Please guide me. 0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 12/3/2024 Posts: 15452 Rating: (2452)	The firmware in the plc is v2.2 as well? Did you compile all and download just the hardware configuration? Did you perform a factory reset? Does the plc part # match the part # (exactly) as the project configuration? When you use the online access tool in the project tree (at the bottom), can you find the plc and look at the diagnostic buffer? See anything of interest, possibly related to any of the above questions or prior replies?

Try this if it canmake your desired outcome. - Recovery from a lost password This is the standard method for Resetting to factory settings.

I applied same way for resetting CPU. as per your manual procedure. but my Maint LED is Continuous flashing . all other reset activities are done. except IP . IP can not resetting though i select rest IP also. and flashing of maint led is continuous. and if i give Start command then still it remains in stop mode only. please reply.

Previously I used the older CPU (6ES7 214-1BE30-0AB0) and I didn't have a problem with these. Now I have the newer CPU (6ES7 214-1BG31-0AB0) and I am experiencing the same download error. I use the detect utility to detect the version of the CPU so there can't be an issue with which version of configuration I am selecting. It detects OK but faults when trying to download to the CPU..

A couple of options come to mind from prior forum users with similar issues. 1. Memory reset the plc, then power cycle and attempt to download. 2. Update firmware, and then attempt to download, and perhaps try option 1. 3. Submit the problem to Siemens via support request or RMA process

selim33 Posts: 17 Rating: (1)	Can you find cpu in tia portal before online or download program and flash led, if u can make memoryreset your plc with other computer and after try it with your computer and download it.May be you must try it version 10.5
