s7 1200 HMI alarms

rQx Bronze Member Joined: 12/9/2010 Last visit: 12/30/2024 Posts: 162 Rating: (5)	As I unbderstand it only words can be read to the HMI alarms on s7 1200 and the HMI. Isn't there any easier way to do it then convert all of your M, Q, Is to Words?

I think this way is better in order to group the alarms and even to configure them in WinCC Flex... Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

MrPaiva Silver Member Joined: 6/29/2010 Last visit: 10/27/2022 Posts: 112 Rating: (63)	Hi rQx, You can open two TIA 10.5, one with your project and the other with the program of the convertion blocks, so you can copy the FC block and pasteon folder "Program blocks" of your project, now you can use this FC in your program. Even with only two alarms is necessary to use a tag like word to send alarms from the CPU to HMI. This is because it is more advantageous to use a word that can transmit 16 alarms using the same tag and not 16 tags. Regards.
