Hi all, I have now updated the firmware of a CPU1212 as described here. I was having "problems" at first loading the firmware. But then - if I followed the description exactly added with a bit of patience, I would not have had an issue at all. One thing that is not mentioned is how long it takes for the PLC to copy the firmware from the memory card. It can be several "minutes". (I'd imagine it takes mere seconds.) Just be patient. As they say in the documentation - wait until the RUN/STOP is fully yellow and the MAINT light is flashing yellow. my 2c worth |
