S7-1200 internet controller access

Dears,

What is the extra hardware/licenses required to access the S7-1200 plc program from my laptop at home to modify the program or monitor the functions for example?

Maybe I will need to activate the integrated web server and connect it to a modem/router with an internet connection and fixed IP for the cpu? the integrated server can only show the archives or diagnostic buffer or it can show the monitoring of one tag for example but it cannot show a full FC function or modify/download to the PLC? 

 How do you set it up for the plc connections in hardware configuration?

And what settings do you use on your laptop? 

if possible, can you please give me a program example of the application you have ? it is on S7-1200 am i right?

You only need a VPN connection, Host-Lan.
1. Router with VPN
2. Access to the Internet, where it is installed PLC,
3. At home ... laptop, internet and set up a VPN connection.

I use this solution with several PLC connected to the main switch, and everything works very well.
