Hi has anyone a working example 

of sending data to an unspecified partner using iso TCP and how to test it using a P.C

any help would be great

I have seen that link but I am trying to connect with software on My P.C and not with another 

S7 1200 and the tcon_c block does not seem to connect to the PC

the 3rd party client has not specified 

it is a P.C running some software to collect data

siemens told me iso over TCP was possible but only examples are 2 PLC's

so can get normal TCP working but iso does not seem to connect to my client

so really need a way to test it's working before it is shipped

Hello,

in my opinion you have problem on other side, simply you can put PLC as testing device but with PC you must have application supported ISO on TCP, or implemented this. I see problem here if you don't have one. Nevermind, I'll be try PLC instead of PC application, in case of Exchange data it can be same, if we talk about user defined frames.
