Is that S7-1200(1214) PLC can direct link to proface HMI (Pfxgp4301tadw).Is it just thru ethernet cable communicate right? or need any converter for communicate? Thanks for your help

yes, it should work with an normal Ethernet-cable.

If it has a driver for your Siemens-PLC, I don´t know.

Hello Simatic general 

I think if you want to connect S7-1200 with proface HMI via Ethernet you need to use modbus TCP/IP protocol.

Mapp your required data in S7-1200 using MB_Server instruction in holding register format & move your read/write data in the pointer field / DB.

In pro-face HMI connect generate Modbus TCP/IP connection & parameter all necessary network component like IP, Subnet & device ID etc.

Pro-face HMI will be Modbus client & Siemens PLC will be modbus Server in your case.

With help of MB_Server block in Siemens you can convert simatic memory in Modbus Holding memory range & then you can access this data in pro-face HMI through modbus registers i.e holding registers.

check attachment for MB_server block details,

at MB_Holding register input field you can use DB pointer address also like,

DB10.DBX0.0 WORD 100

db10 is only for example here.

using this instruction you can convert respective PLC memory addresses to modbus holding registers & your simatic first memory address word pointed in above mentioned field will be your 40001 in modbus protocol,

means in our example DB10.DBW0 ------->> 40001

accordingly you can access required all data in proface HMI properly, even bits/words/real & all necessary data. you just need to address & mapp at both end according to your required data type.

 So mean I only do setting in PLC part right. Just follow the your sample picture do it right. So i can direct use Ethernet lan cable link from HMI and PCL right.  How to know not set optimized block access. Any sample picture.

one more thing Ensure the DB is not set for "Optimized block access" when the HMI links to the PLC using absolute addressing as an access method.
