is there any thread related to S7-1200, LOGO and TP700 communication. I want to read the data from LOGO to S7-1200 and display in TP700. Please guide me. I know there is some documents. But couldn't find one easily.

I have just bought a S7-1212C and thereupon I cerated test programs for the LOGO! and the S7 to learn the data exchange between LOGO! and S7. The data exchange use the S7 protocol. The LOGO! is the server, the S7 is the client. The S7 works with PUT and GET.
However, the documentation is in German. If you still want the program, please answer me, I will the uploaded to the forum.

Yes, and it doesn't work for me. Many other users have a problem with Siemens example. In German forum also.

So you mean only GET PUT instruction is the only possible way. I just want to read only one analog input from LOGO to S7-1200. Nothing else.

The GET function is for reading data from the LOGO!, the PUT function is for writing data to the LOGO!.

 How to ensure that the S7-communication between logo had s7-1200 is being established or not? Anyway to verify the connection other than ping?

what is the Problem with GET and PUT for you? Did you want to know more about the function und using the FBs?
