S7 1200 made in Germany

My customer is asking to use Made in Germany items and I can't get that. I have informed from my supplier that production line for S7 1200 is full transfer to china , while I tell this to my Customer they asked me Evidence for that. Any one who can suggest me where can I get this information from siemens site or any official announcement? Regards

Thank you for giving the above information, though I have tried to argue my customer with this idea. The customer is worried that how to identify the genuinety of the product because they have experienced with copy of some other item from China. There for it would be best if there is some mechanism of checking using serial number of the item. Thank you again

You need to contact Siemens with your customer's concerns and see what they can offer. You should start with the local distributor you used to purchase the Siemens components - unless you have doubts they purchased through the normal Siemens supply chain.
