i.demir Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi all.. I want to do Modbus communication with cpu s7 1200.. CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC and CM 1241 (RS485) added to my hardware.. I'm looking to help on writing and reading word in cpu commands. Im looked at the forum but could not find a detailed example.. Do you have an example your application?

It is quite simple to use, you have to define a datablock with variables and proper configuration of baudrate, protocol bits, modbus address. You can also use different types of data, as long your modbus master support this feature (if you are using slave in plc) then you can read /write this registers in your plc applications directly, there is no need to do some word logics or to move content of buffer.

These communication settings: Boudrzate :9600 Bit length : 7 Parity : Even Stop bit : 1 Temp. control device adress : 3 Data write address : 4097 (int) Data read address : 4096 (int) Comm. cable concetions: 3. pin : Txd + 8. pin : Txd - I would like to make S7-1200 master. but I could not..
