siemensuiapl Bronze Member Joined: 3/3/2016 Last visit: 10/26/2024 Posts: 140 Rating: (0)	I had connected S7-1211C PLC to Modbus TCP/IP Converter.Energy meter connected to Modbus TCP/IP converter via RS-485 Connection. I can read the Energy meter value in Modscan software.But i cannot read in S7-1211C PLC. I have enclosed the S7-1211C program MB_CLIENT Snop shoot. Kindly update the solution. Jay siemensuiapl I had connected S7-1211C PLC to Modbus TCP/IP Converter.Energy meter connected to Modbus TCP/IP converter via RS-485 Connection. I can read the Energy meter value in Modscan software.But i cannot read in S7-1211C PLC. I have enclosed the S7-1211C program MB_CLIENT Snop shoot. Kindly update the solution.

Jay. Posts: 1283 Rating: (105)	Also Input 11 in the connection type column. I am not sure whether its the reason, you can try. already from the photo before it seems the connection is okay. Just need to pull out the data now. Thanks, jay siemensuiapl i used holding register 40001....upto length 10.

Jay. Posts: 1283 Rating: (105)	Okay. Then no need to try 103. MODE 0 should be okay for your address and data lengt5h. Just input the Connection Type with 11 and download to PLC again and see.
