Hello, It seems like we've faced the same problem. We tried to connect our S7-1200 PLC straight to a laptop with an ethernet cable. But TIA portal on the laptop could not detect the PLC (earlier we could connect to the PLC from other machines through our network). After restarting our PLC stopped responding to connection requests from all other machines and displays this combination of LEDs. Rx/Tx LED is always orange. Also we tried to update firmware using memory card but with no success. CPU order number 6ES7-214-1AE30-0XB0. Unfortunately the PLC is no longer under warranty and Siemens doesn't provide repair services. Is it possible to fix this problem? If you have any solutions or suggestions please let me know. Thanks ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Irco, did you try and reset the PLC back to factory defaults? |
