S7-1200: Not able to get PLC IP through router or connect LAN directly to PLC

PatelIND Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I am trying to power up the PLC (S7-1200) , but not able to get PLC IP through router or connect LAN directly to PLC . Also, we tried to debug the IP through “SIMATIC Automation Tool”, But not able to get the IP address . Let me know how i will get the IP. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from about SIEMENS PLC.

Generally, some problems can occur with no updated TIA SW so maybe you can tell us what exactly (full info about SP and Updates) version of TIA you have. I recommend everytime direct connection to PLC (of course simple HUB can be used). In other side you can try set in PG/PC interface with S7 Online Step7 set your Ethernet card name connection.
