s7-1200 PID control heating and cooling of same zone

Cleveland tool Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I hope someone can guide me in the right direction. I am currently developing a machine that has multiple pid loops for temperature control. Most of my zones are a single thermal couple and single output to aheater device. I do have one zone that has a single thermal couple, heating blanket and a heat exchanger for cooling. The heating blanket heats the tank to the desired temperature. As the tank overshoots thattemperature the cooling kicks in. DoI need multiple PID's or is the a single PID able to control both heating and cooling? Please contact me if additional information is needed. Thanks
