" Thanks in Advance A.Aruljothi No. Since you have V13 Professional, you can change the PLC from 1200 to 1500 and simulation will work. If you are using s7-1200 specific instructions, you will want to delete them and replace with s7-1500 equivalent blocks for simulation.

But firmware version 4.1 and PLCSim v13 + SP1 will change it. (Then it will be possible to simulate ) See the following link: Firmware Version V4.1 released for S7-1200 CPUs Best regards, Wizard

But anyhow, the CPU 12xx CPU is not very expensive, so you may buy one for testing and Simulation purposes.
