I'm trying to read holding register from a power meter which is connected in modbus RTU to a MODBUS RTU/MODBUS TCP gateway.

So I'm using the MB_CLIENT block on a S7-1200 to get the data. (see attachement)

The unit_ID of the powermeter is 8 so i've change it in the MB_CLIENT DB as well.

I'm having the 8383 STATUS error 

Error in the data address or address is not in the range of the valid area of MB_DATA_PTR.

But I can't find why.

The powermeter is a Schneider PM710 i'm trying to read the Reg 4020 as i could find in the documentation. (http://www.engineering.schneider-electric.dk/Attachments/ed/use_main/pl_meter710_user_manual.pdf).

The gateway is an EGX100.

I managed to read the value from a simple modbus tcp client for windows.

So i guess the gateway is working fine.

Could somebody help me please ?

probably your requested register address must be 44020 not 4020.
