S7-1200 Pulse Output

Hello,

I'm relatively new to Siemens programming, I'm using an 1214 dc/dc/rly CPUand need to create a pulse output. PTO/PWM can't be used with this cpu because of the relay output. I'm able to create pulse output using TP: Generatre Pulse function, however, I need to this to be on a cycle.

For example:

If the analogue input rises above 5.1v, an output pulse needs to be generated.

Cycle = 1 second. Pulse on for 0.2 seconds per cycle.

Is it possible to have a pulse output on a cycle with the CPU I have? If so, could someone explain how?

Is programming aPWM function as simple to do using a signal board as it is with a CPU that supports PWM?

Just checked on the software, adding the signal board to the CPU is straight forward, enabling PWM function in the same way but selecting the signal board as the output source.
