Hi! I have a problem with communication with RDREC functiom using it between to S7-1215 CPU's. In the attachment there is a screenshots with some of settings that i made. the error code that responce from the functios is C0809000. In the manaul this is explains as "The parameters of the subfield are write-protected. E.g. parameters are specified via configuration or PNIO mode is enabled" But this doesn't help me. Hi again! Ok, maybe i did not understood how this function work. So input "ID" is the ID of the Profibus DP slave divece in my case it is "3"; input "INDEX" is Hardware indentifier of module that I want to read (in my case this is Module Digital Inputs - SM 1221 DI16 x 24VDC with hardwate identifier 278); input "MLEN" is the max length of the transfered data (in bytes),i put there for tests 10 only because it didn't work with 2 (the module has 2 bytes of inputs). I attached screenshot of the network that I configured. The topology of the netwoks is so simple: two CPU's each of them with 2 modules input and two modules otputs. One of them is Master in Profibus network and the otherone is Slave. So my idea is to use the slave only like Remote IO module , I mean that in the Slave CPU there will be no logic inside and this mean that I will control the slave outputs via Profibus. This is my first time that I creat network between to Siemens PLC and unfortunately I'm not shure is this the correct way.
