As far as I'm concernedthough SCL is a poor substitute for STL, so I'm with Aristoteles on this one. It's Siemens call at the end of the day and I'll live even if S7-1200's won't allow STL (as long as they keep STL inthe "real" PLC's). cheers fritz

Until S7-200 (S7-Micro/Win) allows the editingprogram in STL language, why his successor does not allow it too ?? It´s not a good newsimho! regards

Somethings that needSTL /or absolut adressig in the past, could be alredy solved with LAD / simbolicin thisnew tecnolgy (for example date and time splitable). Important is don't lose the functionalities, independently the technology (STL, SCL, etc.).
