S7-1200 TCP communication using port 49999

TheRatburger Regular Member Joined: 5/24/2012 Last visit: 7/11/2024 Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	I am trying to talk to a marquee view TCP and have done similar applications in the past. My issue is that the marquee uses port 49999 and is not able to be changed. This port is not selectable in the S7-1200 TCP communications configuration. It is limited to port number 49151. Do you know of any way to address a TCP port above this limit?

I was able to compile even though the software barked at me with a port above the allowed range and it still worked. I also put a permanent move statement in just above where I communicated with the TCP device and it kept the port number set at 49999.
