Hi 

I have problem to connect to 3rd part device which acts as 10 Base-T, TCP/IP server

PLC s7-1200 1214 v4 

Device specifications are : 

Connector: Rj45 10 /Base-T

Server port: 1000

Default IP: 10.0.0.10

Subnet mask 255.255.0.0

The commands are not case sensitive and are always terminated by a return character (‘\r’).

The dot (.) ASCII character is used as a separator when several data are transmitted by the same command (e.g.: “IPA=10.0.0.10\r” to set the IP address).

Each command is acknowledged by the controller as follow:-

Control commands:o “1\r” if the command succeeded o “-1\r” if the command is not recognized-

Query command:o Requested data if the command succeeded “-1\r” if the command is not recognized

Do you guys have any idea if communication with this device it's possible?

In your situation, PLC need to be passive, so Partner (PC) need establish/initiate active connection. Via received messages (you already know format) you can then answer with respective message to Client (PC).

The description is wrong in the post .PLC is my PC from description and controller is "LED controller" which acts as a server. So PLC query LED controller which respond to the queries.

sry for my mistake. In this case your PLC is Client and 3-rd party device is Server. Your PLC need set Active establishment of connection in connection settings properties. Nevermind, link with example is still usable for you.

I will try to do this however I did that and I had no luck  form the above example I don't understand why he's overwriting  the connection parameter which where set in the block

sry, for quick simple test only TCON, TDISCON, TSEND and TRCV instructions are needed with simple configuring TAGs, look to TIA Help. For Send and Recv of data prepare 2 DBs, on for send and one for receive. Both can have structure of Array [0..x] of byte. With simple test with PC you can enable via REQ input required instruction and see what will come to rcv buffer.
