Dear Experts,

                      One of my client using S7-300 Plc In that Cp343 Module also using for scada and hmi connection .

                      And now wer are going to supply new machine - In that am going to install S7-1200 Plc And Ktp-700 Hmi . So that my plc (s7-1200 ) to Excising PLC (s7-300) to data sharing throw profinet .

                     S7-300 Plc they are using Simatic Manager ( V5.5 Sp3) programmed previously .

                      S7-1200 Plc am going to program TIA v13 Software .

                So which hardware to choose ?? Like am asking PN/PN Coulper to use connection establishment to those plc . ??

                   I want to communicate with my plc to S7-1200 to (ktp -700 and One plc  s7-314 and scada wincc ).

                 kindly share some document and program backup . how to make connection .

Hello,

as I understand, you want to integrate S7-1200 and KTP to existing PROFINET Network?
And Want S7-300 (CP 343) and S7-1200 to transfer data?

So, you can operate S/-1200 as I-Device in TIA, build and export GSD-File and integrate that in STEP 7 V5.5 to S7-300 as IO-Controller.

The S7-1200 as itself also can be IO-Controller for its own PROFINET Network.

I thins, this would be the simplest way;-)

In Siemens Industry Support, you will find many Faq / Application for this case.

                    kindly send me the S7-1200 GSD file for Simatic Manger V5.5  or siemens link . 

                     As you said ( STEP 7 V5.5 to S7-300 as IO-Controller.)    Means i want to share both the controller Input and outputs.?? Please explain Clearly .

Hello Arasan,

if you change the operation mode of S7-1200 to "I-Device" (TIA-Portal ->Hardware-> Properties of the PLC -> Operating mode) and configure a tranfer area, you can export the GSD File and import this in STEP 7 V5.5

                            I have read your post and information . If am going to make S7-1200 plc as profinet -S7 connection means then it should can able to read and write datas through profinet . rite.??

                            In my s7-1200 plc i have only one profinet port . so in that i want to configure one more hmi (ktp-700 and Scada- Wincc Also ) connection Can able to read and write data's as same s7-1200 plc ,hmi and scada also . please clarify more.

There is one physical Ethernet port but this can make several communication links.

The addresses of the communication partners need to have network addresses that are encapsulated in the PLCs subnet mask. This idea is the same for computer networks.

Configure the PLC for each of the partners as if there is only one partner. But have the partner address as unique and the address falls within the subnet range. Do use unique connection resources.

A mix of Profinet, Ethernet IP and Modbus TCP is possible on one physical connection. Watch out for expecting too much traffic speed to flow at the same moment.

the best way you can use s7 connection with block PUT /GET that exist in 1200 cpu , i tried it before 

that make you able to transfer the data from 1200 to 300 and vise versa very easy way 

without using any GSD files. 

The network topology also very easy as they siad you will get regular tcp/ip switch and use it to configure your network .
