S7-1200 to Sick Nav350 TCP/IP Ethernet Communication

Scotty88 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi all I am using the Nav350 laser sensor from Sick for navigation and need it to communicate with the s7-1200 PLC. I am able to get the Nav350 connected to the software from Sick, however I cannot communicate with it from the PLC. Has anyone been able to do this or knows how to do this that can assist? If there is anything else I need to post just let me know (first time posting) Thanks

Hereis a manual with description, andhereis a manual about communication telegrams. For this type of communication you will need standard blocks TCON/TSEND/TRECV. It is possible to exchange ASCII data according with NAV30 telegram description. Please read alsothistopic. And last,hereyou can find an open communication wizard for configuration connection data. Few program examples: 1. ISO open. 2.Open TCP. 3.Open UDP. Lot of reading) Hope it helps.
