S7 1200 with Modbus

Occhioreffo Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I would like to use this solution: TIA Portal V11 SP1, CPU1214, Communications Module RS485 to see and modify all the parameters of 9 differents inverters Altivar 312 through their built in modbus protocol. Do you think it can works? Altivar 312 has a RJ45 port, S7 communication module has a DB9 port, maybe it's not a big problem if I find the 2 electrical drawings. Occhioreffo Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	I think also CB1241 can talk with Altivar 312 through Modbus RTU, I prefer CB1241 instead of CM1241 because it's cheaper and easier to connect. Now my question is how to connect the RJ45 port of Altivar with 6 terminals of CB1241, I suppose: ATV312 ---------------------- CB1241 5 D0 -------------------------- TRA + TA 4 D1 -------------------------- TRB + TB 8 Common bus signal --- M Do you agree?
