S7-1212C Problem with Recovery Lost Password

Hello to everyone

Hope someone can help me with this problem.

I have a S7-1212C CPU 6ES7 212-1AE40-0XB0

blocked, with a lost password.

I follow the procedures to wipe PLC, using a Simatic MMC

I bought a 4MB 6ES7 954-8LC03-0AA0

deleting the files S7_JOB.SYS and the Folder SIMATIC.S7S

insert in Laptop and with TIA PORTAL V17 and V18 (I using both because, I have the doubt if the CPU is 4.5 or 4.6) change the properties of the Simatic MC to transfer card.

With CPU OFF insert MMC and turn ON, the led flashed all good, RUN/STOP on steady Yellow and MAINT flashing yellow

CPU go OFF remove MMC and power again, led RUN/STOP steady Yellow rest off like a empty CPU

When I connect to Laptop, and going online the TIA POrtal show a POP-UP windows (See Frist Attachment) "The device uses an unknown, self-signed certificate"

This never show in the various videos I see on Youtube about this procedure.

When click on Connect asking me for password

I repeat this to or third times, same result....

So, Any Help???

 the steps you have done are correct. But just to be sure: Have you transfered anything to the SMC after you deleted the folder/file?

If yes, do not transfer an "empty" cpu program to the SMC.

If everything was done correctly, please post a screenshot of the password request. Sometimes there can be different passwords.

No, i dont load or transfer anything to the SMC after configure like Transfer Card

I follow the manual, and they say stop in Step 4

But i suppose the SMC must have those files, because, After configure as Transfer Card, the SMC have the files S7_JOB.SYS and the Folder SIMATIC.S7S

Sure, I attach the screenshot after I click in Connect

Is the same Password request always show me.

Well, I will Try again, and let the PLC ON 

Just, to get a idea, how much was "long"?

My SMC have the hidden files, I upload a screenshot of the Windows explorer, the card is identified like a Siemens MC, and TIA Portal let me configure without problems.

Yes, the same day sancruz response me, I open a support ticket, past the initials talks, they are asking to product departament if anything are missed. If they give a solution I will post here

I major concern is the Certificate Warning is very odd and never is mentioned on procedures or videos
