S7-1214C with a SM1223 DC/RLY

Darren76 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hello, I've got a S7-1214C with a SM1223 DC/RLY expansion attached. I have 24v to CPU and SM. I've wrote the program with my inputs across the CPU and SM but whenever I set any inputs to the SM high I get the LED on to say its changed status but nothing changes in the program. But when I run the same bit of code to an Input on the CPU it works fine. Any suggestions please. Regards Darren

Regards Darren Hello, Prior to any action, be sure that addresses in device configuration match the addresses used in the program. To be sure, make a watch table , insert all addresses and check each bit on the SM.If it is not working, check the module/ its connection to CPU! Hope these hints help! Hamid Hosseini

Darren76 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	I'd changed the addresses to match the assigned addresses which must of been the problem as I deleted all assigned addresses for inputs to the SM and re-assigned them and it is working fine, thanks all for your help.
