S7 1243-5 DP Master firmware update problem

artur_aip Member Joined: 9/10/2019 Last visit: 3/6/2025 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have a problem with 1243-5 Profibus Master module. It is 1.1 firmware version and S7-1200 is firmware 4.2.3. Profibus module is in stop mode (yellow LED) and communication is not running. I found that this 1.1 firmware is not compatible with PLC firmware over 4.0. I downloaded new firmware 1.3.8 dedicated for CPU over 4.0. I was trying to download it but it is not stopped and I get info like below: "The module is not currently ready for a firmware update." What can I do to solve it? I don't have a MMC to try updating firmware that way. Regards Artur
