Hello.

I am a engineering student student and currently I'm working with s7-1500 controller. For purposes of one of my projects I need to communicate with TwinCAT 2 and my simatic controller. I already make the gsd file and installed in the tiav13. 

Now I'm not sure how exactly it's done and what would the next steps be. I searched online but it seems that there isn't much information  for this process. Any suggestion is welcome.

To my knowledge, the S7 family of processors do not support communications with TwinCat processors (neither v2 or v3), and you should look for a gateway between the S7 and the (Beckhoff?) TwinCat PLC.

The Ethernet adapter the Introduction page points to is from IBH, and it connects the MPI programming port of the S7 CPU to Ethernet (you should not need it with a  S7-1500: you can connect directly to TCP/IP; please contact Beckhoff and validate)
