S7-1500 difference between Standard and Technology CPUs?

_oleksandr_ Bronze Member Joined: 4/2/2016 Last visit: 7/13/2022 Posts: 413 Rating: (6)	Hi, Could you explain to me what are the main differences between S7-1500 Standard and Technology CPUs? for example, I want to upgrade an old grinding machine... this machine has three axes (X, Y, Z) + spindle (SP) + two stepper motors (Diamond Dressing Systems), I plan to use Sinamics V90 PN + S-1500, Now I choose between Standard CPU CPU 1515-2 PN (6ES7515-2AM01-0AB0) (CA01 L price ~2100 Eur) Technology CPU CPU 1515T-2 PN (6ES7515-2TM01-0AB0) (CA01 L price ~2800 Eur) in the table (attached) I see that CPU 1515T-2 PN has more work memory (750KB) and that's all?
