S7-1500 Exceeds Working Temperature Range

What would happen if an S7-1500's temperature exceeded it's working temperature of 60C? Is there any internal CPU temperature sensor that would give an alarm or shutdown the controller? Would the controller continue operating normal, with the potential to reduce it's lifespan, or potentially behave erratically. Much Appreciated, Hunter

Therefore, the CPU will not go immediately after STOP as soon as the temperature is > 60 °C With a relatively high probability, the CPU is not noticeable in the limit range, but we are formally outside the guaranteed environmental conditions and cannot make any statement about the behavior. Ambient temperature and installation altitude

However duration of working or even storage with temperature exceeds that mentioned in data sheet, will decrease its life time for sure. If ambinet temperature is 60 deg. You should use temperature extended range " SIPLUS".

Did the heat calculations on an enclosure, and the results gave a temperature of 61C, going to add some fans that should drop it to around 50C. I've used Rockwell, Honeywell, and Triconex PLCs in the past, and they all have internal CPU monitoring that you can view, and will shutdown the PLC if it reaches a certain threshold. Kinda surprised nothing like this exists for the 1500, I'll have to add a cabinet temperature sensor.
