Hello,

I want to replace S7-400 automation system with S7-1500 automation system.

Know i want to know that S7-1500 automation system can to be instead of  S7-400?

I mean can S7-1500 provide S7-400 functionality and more for our automation system? 

Because S7-1500 wil be instead of S7-400 in nearly future.

Hi,

S7-1500 is an upgrade S7-400 in some extent. But some features still not available in S7-1500.

Anyways programming structures in S7-1500 are different from S7-400. Study the Programming Guideline for S7-1200/1500 to see the new structure.
