Hello All.

I am using PLC 1511-1 PN (6ES7 511-1AK01-0AB0) and CM PtP RS 422/485 HF (6ES7 541-1AB00-0AB0). My communication is done. Here I use Modbus Master block and I got success to write data on slave  but can't read from slave. Here I use RS485 mode. Please can anyone tell me what I am missing. I use Modbus View simulator. Here I attach snapshot of my project.

if you have ERROR output true, what Status value you have with Master block? What did you set on MB sim, what register available? You didn't post any info about your MB SW settings.

Thank you for your reply. As you can see in attachment status is 7002 (Data Transmission running).  In MB sim I configure 9600 baud rate with even parity as a slave. I use ADAM (Isolated Converter) with MOXA  for converting RS-485 to RS232.

probably problem with cable or MB SW settings, look to your MASTER block - is BUSY - no repeat/connection from/to Slave. Do you have correctly executed MB_COMM_LOAD for MB_MASTER? This Picture I'm missing also for sure. Pls explain why use 2 adapters together (Adam and Moxa) this is unclear to me, your Moxa hasn't RS-485/422 to RS-232? With your info I expect RS-232 on your PC.

Thank you for your support Duris_l and Kaulquappe. Now my block is working properly. I had a problem with MOXA. I replaced it and now it's working fine. Yes, Duris_l My MOXA (USB-to-Serial adapter) hasn't RS-485 to RS232 converter hence I am using MOXA and ADAM (RS232 to RS-485 converter).
