e hi All,

I want to connect a Siemens plc s7-1500  with a module having RS-485 protocol. 

Basically i am new i don't know what should i require for this purpose. and how this is possible .

in Other words, Siemens plc with RS-485 communication.

Any help will be life saving .

RS485 is not a protocol, it's a physical definition for a serial interface.

On this serial interface you may run one of this in-TIA-Portal-built-in-protocols:

• Freeport/ASCII
• Modbus RTU
• USS-Bus
• 3964/3964R

then kindly suggest me any s7-1500 plc with builtin rs485 if not then suggest me s7-1500 plc with communication module for rs-485 .
