In im 151-8 CPU GSD file is integrated with same profibus address  and downloaded. But i am not able to find the nodes  .

 What do you mean when you say   "same profibus address".
Your master and slave should not have the same address.

Also.. which softwares are you using?

Have a look at the posting on [LINK1] which links in turn to other links.
One of the broken links should show to [LINK2].
GSD files can be found at [LINK3] - where you can get the GSD for the  EM277 of the S7-200.

Sorry for my mistake .

Master and slave are assigned 2 different IP address . In GSD file in S7 , s7-200 Dp address is defined .

My problem is that i am not able to detect  Dp node(Slave node) from Master CPU.(IM 151-8 with DP master card).

Can any body explain me what does it mean by CPU Fault in EM 277(277-OAA22- Module ?

Here i am using s7-200 CN(212-1BB23-OXB8) . SO is there any possibility of  compatability issue, as it's a CN cpu ?

Everything i done properly as per the procedure but still not able to find the slave node . Profibus termination and continuity also checked .

Plz suggest me the possible reason for CPU fault ?

How i will troubleshoot s7200 (EM-277) module ? 

Following points are verified :

1. Cable continuity is verified  and found ok 

2. Terminal resistor is "ON" on end node . From Master side it's ON

3. From DP port of EM 277 i am able to acess s7200 logic also and node(10) is  able to browse from EM 277 .

4. But from Master and from repeater(6ES7972-0AA02-0XA0)  i am not able to browse the slave  node(10). 

But still not able to acess the node  from master as well as from repeater . From repeater i am able to browse the Master  node(20)  but not the salve node (10).

Hello satya;

since you are able to browse the EM277 from some nodes and not from others, I have a feeling you might have wrong termination setting in the network; it gets a bit more complex when youa re using repeaters, if you are not careful.

Please provide us qith a complete topology sketch for your network, including distnces (approximate) between the nodes and location of all terminating resistors that you have turned on at this moment. Also make sure to identify which of the nopdes is an end node (physically).

I had a problem with ABB drives were the problem was that not all of the slaves were configurated to DP V1, some where define with DV V0.
