S7-300 Abnormal AI module

AurinoP Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Dear all, I have problem with my AI 6ES7 331 7KF02 0AB0. Channel 1 have abnormal condition when catch 4-20mA from my weigher indicator using 2-wire configuration. Channel 1 give wrong Integer value when it injected by 20mA. It give only 16632 (should be 27648). This condition happen only in channel 1, another channel are going well. Is it possible AI module broken only 1 channel??or the problem definitely from my wiring installation??

Hi, IF possible send us the pic of connections you have made. and check following points: 1. hardware configuration 2. setting of Measuring Range Module ie a blocks present at the back side of the module. for 2 wire measurement it should be set On 'D' Regards, Rudrani

This module have programmable measuring ranges: Order number 6ES7331-7KF02-0AB0 Properties ● 8 inputs in 4 channel groups ● Programmable measurement type at each channel group – Voltage – Current – Resistance – Temperature ● Programmable resolution at each channel group (9/12/14 bits + sign) ● Any measuring range selection per channel group ● Programmable diagnostics and diagnostic interrupt ● Programmable limit value monitoring for 2 channels ● Programmable hardware interrupt when limit is exceeded ● Electrically isolated to CPU and load voltage (not for 2-wire transducers)
