s7-300 com with wincc 2007

ajay jay Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	dear all ...i had posted regarding wincc 2007 problem which i still in hang over ..but i do need to clear something about s7-300.. since i mstill too this...i have couple of question that i really need answer ,so that i can sure either the configuration of wincc 2007 (pg/pc interface).. 1) i saw 2 com port at cpu ..this cpu are (cpu-313C-2DP)..and i have 2 number of socket with 2 number of cable. 1 socket at PC and other socket at cpu which 1 of the cabel are connect other side..problem i m facing this ..the former guy who do this had dismental due to his mentality problem..and had open all the wire at socket...somehow i manage too hook 1 cable and run this system too manual..but unable to run VIA wincc (pc)..my big question..how do i connect the cable and how too set the on /off switch at the socket..there 2 set of terminal address as A1 Green B1 Red and A2 Green B2 Red...which terminal i should connect at PC side and which terminal i should connect at CPU site. 2) what is the diffrent of profibus and MPI connector ..and where can i find this catalog or manual of it .. i m really sorry for such long post..and i really hope some1 could help me on this so i can move too next step..please let me know if there any other information needed.

ajay jay Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	daer sir ,,, this the connector i m currently been hook with PC. and CPU... please do correct me ..Curenntly i connect A1 and B1 at PC socket ..A2 and B2 at CPU socket and A1 and B1 to other feild device,,and the switch at PC are set too Off position and same as at CPU socket.. ajay jay Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Last edited by: ajay jay at: 2/11/2012 8:05 AM with current connection..when i open wincc runtime it say failed too communicate .. terminate wincc runtime and i open simatic manager too check block and so on but unable to go online ..it Error massage...unable to communicate reinstall interface and cableling ..this somesort the massage are.. as my previous treat ..i wanna make sure that cable and socket are corretly set than i would like to go for configaration on wincc. Now you will need two Profibus connectors one for the PC and other for the CPU. In the CPU connector you will need to connect to A1 and B1 terminal and in the PC side you will need to connect to A1 and B1 of PC side connector. make sure that you switch on the terminating resistor at PC and CPU side on ON side. Have fun....

ajay jay Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	dear sir .. please correct me again when looking at the cpu..there are 2 port .(which i belive both are same ).. currently 1 of the port i using the same connector which it connect too feild device .and at the same socket i connect too PC from CPU... when i ON the switch some how there are red LED blinking on CPU and i had swtich it back too off position sorry for my very poor understanding on this... which is MP! port and Whcih is porfibus port ..i really dont have any manual for this CPU and any wiring connection from CPU too PC .. please forgive if my question are sound so poor skill..coz i m newly expose too seimens CPU .. there are stage i tot easy way ..too pull out this CPU and work with HMI and cpu i fimiliar ..but than i wanted too know aboth this coz this seem so chalenging too me and kinda start too like semiens
