S7 300-CP340-MC35i GSM modem-sending/receiving SMS

Is it possible solution for communication between remote station with personal? And if it possible, which cable between CP340 and modem I have to use? Which kind of RS232 cable? On site, I read applications where is used as modem Sinaut MD720-3, and that is clear for me. But is it possible this solution? Best regards, Zoran

Maybe check therefore the configuration hier http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/25545680 But there is no posibillity for using teleservice. Therefore you need a teleserviceadapter directly connected to the MPI interface of your S7-3xx controller! No teleservice possible through the CP3xx. What do you want? SMS or Teleservice? regards

In this case you have to adjust the program. GPRS solution with your hardware equipment: there is now already existing solution for that. Why not change MC45i to MD720-3?
