S7 300 CPU 314 IFM

I've mostly worked on AB and Omron PLC's in my past and would like to ask you gurus for a favour. We have just brought a machine from a company which makes serviettes. The machine runs on a S7 300 CPU 314 IFM PLC. I tried searching for user manual for this on the siemens website but wasnt able to find the correct one. Could someone please advice me of where can i find this manual or at least give me link to the page. We have all our PLC's connected to a ethernet network and i also want to connect this S7 to the same network. My question is,is this CPU compatible with Ethernet IP? and if it is which module should I use for my application. TIA, VK

My question is,is this CPU compatible with Ethernet IP? and if it is which module should I use for my application The CPU itself doesn't have an Ethernet port however it can beconnected to an Ethernet network through a CP (Communication Processor). The S7-300 platform has 3 types of Ethernet CPs. You can find differences between them in the industrial communication catalog. If you are going for just monitoring and programming over TCP/IP network then I recommend the entry level CP343-1 Lean. Best regards. H-H
