s7-300 E-mail communication

It's a simulation so the program is running in PLCSIM. What hardware config should I use? (I did some research and found CP341-1 advance is this correct?)How do I make connection? (SetSMTP server, TO? FROM? Message?etc...). I have tried toparametrize AG_SEND, but without succes. I have no experience with this issuewhat-so-ever. Could somebody give me a helping hand? Maybe provide me a sample program? Or just point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Jens

Jens_app Gold Member Joined: 1/5/2011 Last visit: 3/13/2025 Posts: 815 Rating: (123)	Dear jklm, under TiA portal V11 SP2 the block FB490 (PN_MAIL)is not available, I am now using the block FB49 (AS_MAIL) which is a quite simular. For the moment without succes. If you have any sample projects with FB49, please feel free to send them to me :) Gr, Jens Seems the watchdog timer just runs out, so for some reason the message won't send. The annoying thing is the STATUS integer doesn't give me any number that could reffer to the problem. I guess maybe a problem with using the simulation instead of an actual PLC? Anyone tried the same and succeeded?
