s7 300 F supports Module or channel passivation

I have gone through few documents but i am unable to find. Practically the HW config has provision for channel passivation. I am using S7 distributed safety with PLC 300F MLFB: 6ES7315-2FJ14-0AB0 Please provide me necessary documentation forchannel passivation /Module passivation. Thanks, AGR

miami Platinum Expert Joined: 8/31/2005 Last visit: 9/14/2023 Posts: 2194 Rating: (322)	The older F-DI/F-DO modules only have module wide passivation, with the newer ones you can select module wide or channel selective passivation. The information can be found in the manual for the F-DI module. You gave us the order number of the F-CPU, but we need the order number of the F-DI module to tell you what modes your module supports. Have a look at the properties of the I/O-modules in hwconfig, if they can handle it per channel, you can select it there (Module parameter: "Behavior after channel faults").
