S7 300 HARDWARE MODULE

SEHUL Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	HI ALL, We have a project wherein it is required to use s7 300 modules with insulation voltage of 1.5KV.However in our catalogues all modules have at most insulation of 500V. Kindly send the module info. for following type with 1500V insulation. 1.16 DI 2.16 DQ 3.8AI (4-20mA) 4.8 AI (RTD) 5.8AQ Thank you for your response in advance.

dchartier Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 9/27/2006 Last visit: 10/4/2024 Posts: 12283 Rating: (2685)	Hello Sehul; Take a few minutes to search in the S7-300 module data manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/8859629 If you search on "Isolation Test Voltage" in the manual, you will find 6 DI modules with values above 1500V, 3 DO modules and 1 AO module, No AI modules though, they all look rated at 500V. In the S7-300, ET-200M IEx/O modules manual, however, there is one AI-RTD module and one AI-4/20 mA module showing1500 V Insulation (search on "Insulation" in this manual. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1096709 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier
