S7 300 MMC card fomat

xiaoxiaodi Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Hello,everyone,I do a test in lab,fomat the mmc card in windows,8m,6es7953-8lp20-0aa0,after fomat,the card capacity is 1.6MB,and I use Diskgenius software find there are many unknown capacity,so I expand all the capacity to 62MB,but now I can't restore the original staus.Please help me, thanks all!

xiaoxiaodi Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	before fomat,I use the third software S7imgRD do a card image, the file is .S7img, but after fomat and enlarge the card capacity, use S7imgWR to write the backup image, and then insert back to cpu, cpu can't run

Why is the MMC no longer recognized by SIMATIC devices after it has been formatted in a third-party device? or have a look: Which devices can you use to read from, write to or delete from an S7-300 MMC (Micro Memory Card) outside the CPU? Buy new MMC

As I mentioned many times (my favorite topic), there is UNOFFICIAL way to restore the image of formatted MMC card. Please checkthis topic You can find 8MB image here. __________________________ Use it at your own risk, in laboratory only. I will not recommend you to use restored MMC at a real plant/on a wiorking machinery. For a real plant use a new MMC as mentined bySte39
