Dear Experts,

I am having S7 300 PLC with CP 343-1 lean CP card.

The CPU is only having MPI port and I don't want to use it for the communication,

instead I am using CP343-1  lean to communicate with Wincc Advance SCADA.

I want to know the procedure how to configure this and connect my Wincc Advace

to S7 300 PLC through CP343-1 Lean.

Will be highly obliged for the suggestions and advice.

Thanks for your reply and sharing the link.

It helped me a lot.

Still I don't have the actual hardware's on site still but I have tested it in simulation and working fine.

I have one more question related to this.

In this I am going to have two stations.

One station I will be using as Engg Station on which I will be running both Wincc advance and step 7.

On the other station will be only operating stations and I will be running only runtime application on it. I will configure the application  on ES and will transfer the runtime to OS

Is there any additional software driver or any additional hardware I need to consider for the OS in order to communicate it with PLC.

you do not need any special Hardware or software.

If you have PLC and WinCC Advanced in the same Project then its no problem because if you do the connections correct then everything will run automatically (you only have ot set the PPGPC Settings on the Runtime System)

If you have th PLC in a Classic Project and the Advanced RT in TIA then use this for avoiding Problems:

If you want to use a manualy created HMI Connection then be sure that you use the IP Adress of the CP and the Slot Number Of The CPU

on PLC side you do not have to do anything than configuring the CP343-1
