Hi,

I am working on a project proposal related to S7-300. We have a total 80 nos [ two separate networks. Each network has 40 systems ] of S7-300 system with CP342-5 on each system to communicate with SCADA [ Wonderware]. It is an old system that uses CP card in SCADA PC.

Now We want to upgrade the whole network to Ethernet. So, we need to upgrade the CP342-5 as well. But, we want to look some alternative ideas as well. we are looking for expert ideas on those proposal.

I have attached some of the hypothetical design proposal. I want any of you here tried any of this method and your valuable suggestion to choose best working method.
