S7 300 to AB5000 using AS-i

I am planning to put an AS-i master in an AB5000 and collect inputs, but I also need to get part number information from the S7 300 to the AB (50M from each other). The one thread that applied said Profi was the best way to communicate. Bottom line, can I use the cp343 to send information (as an output?) to the AB? Or would I need to get another output card and use a K60 and send 8 bits that way? Thanks in advance for the feedback, Dave.

Hi Here in the Link Siemens Given the Tested Configuration with Industrial Ethernet & Profibus, Please have a look on it, to select one of the option which will suitable for your Project. one more option Using the Redline Convetor, I tested with S7-300 CPU 315PN/DP & AB 500 PLC it is working.
