s7-300 with cm ptp (137-6aa00-0ba0) act as a modbus master

Is there any example of this CM PtP used in Step 7 v5.5 project, on S7-300 CPU. We have to order this module, since all our IO modules are ET200Sp, and also it seams it is the cheapest solution for Modbus communication. Are there any limitations, or any other licences that we need to order for Modbus Master function?
